During COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic, Ridge Commons Family Dentistry is closed and only seeing patients with true dental emergencies until further notice. The well-being of our patients, our staff and our community is our top priority. This decision was difficult to make but it is for the safety of all.
I want to ensure you that our dental office is one of the safest places due to our infection control protocols. To further reduce risks and mitigate the spread of the virus, our team has been constantly and consistently wiping down everything with hospital grade disinfectants in our office. However, hospitals, ERs, and urgent cares are short of proper protective gears such as gloves, gowns, masks, hand sanitizer, etc. Physicians and nurses are on the frontline and they are in desperate need for these items. Furthermore, the elderly will also need these items. By managing dental emergencies only, we still can serve our patients but reduce the use of protective gears so that hospitals can have access to them. I will also donate most of our masks to the elderly.
We are pending further instructions from our government, CDC and American Dental Association. We feel this is the best way to protect our patients and our community.
We are still accessible via emails and phone for any questions or concerns. If you have a dental emergency, please call our office at 972-972-8782 and I will personally assist your needs. If you are being seen in office for an emergency, we ask that you come alone or with only another person.
I ask that we come together during this hardship and protect our community by “flattening the curve”. Please take care of yourselves, your families, your community. Let’s get through this together.
